Amanda L. Joachim

Amanda L. Joachim is a lifelong resident of Delaware County. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Widener University where she graduated magna cum laude in 2002. Amanda received her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law where she graduated cum laude in 2006. While attending Widener University, Amanda was elected to the Middle Atlantic Conference All- Academic Team for basketball and lacrosse in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Amanda is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Academic Honor Society and the Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society. She also attained a Certificate of Achievement in Federal Income Taxation while attending Widener University School of Law.

Amanda interned for the Honorable Robert C. Wright of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas while in law school drafting Common Pleas decisions and Appellate Opinions. She was also a law clerk at MM&D throughout her law school career.

Amanda is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. Currently, Amanda is an associate attorney at MM&D where she concentrates her practice in prosecuting and defending personal injury and general liability cases. Additionally, Amanda is the head of MM&D’s appellate unit wherein she coordinates both civil and criminal appeals in the Pennylvania courts.
